every morning
the bus whirled past the lake
the weather was cold
the windows shut to keep warm
all eyes were set upon the lake through the glass window
cell phones were out, cameras were ready
it was touristy yes
but i had to feel safe, like a tourist

outside there was a beauty that everyone knew was special

…it was unanimous, this need that gripped all and sundry…

to photograph beauty of a very fleeting kind…
i only wished there was no glass between us..

love is kashmir, queen of heaven…

this was a cliche once, and now i suppose its only nostalgia.
